The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Solution Serum

A beta hydroxy acid that exfoliates the skin is salicylic acid. With continued use, this 2% treatment solution helps exfoliate the inside walls of pores to improve visible skin clarity and combat the appearance of blemishes.

Contraindications: Skin that is compromised, sensitive, or peeling should not use this formula. Please refer to the additional cautions and sun protection note in the directions that are provided.

Note: Because acids can cause sensitivity and inflammation, we usually recommend indirect methods of skin exfoliation, like this formula, even though exfoliating acids can produce immediate visible benefits. In case you are dealing with severe or enduring acne, kindly seek medical advice. There are medications that can effectively treat acne, such as benzoyl peroxide and retinoic acid.
